No longer a Blog virgin
Well, here I am in Blogland. Nice topography anyway. Everything seems so green and Bloglike. I am surprised at how open feeling it is. Like when I went to Joshua Tree National Monument the first time, drove up to the BIG ROCK or BIG BOULDER or BIG STONE area, I don't remember the name exactly, got out of the car and was knocked over by the silence and the vast wide-open feeling, just like now. Wow, I'll have to come back here more often. Much cheaper on gas than actually driving all the way up there, though I will definitely do that once in a while just to keep my perspective straight.
Well, now, my lovely and long-legged wife, mother of my beautiful one year old son who are now sitting but a few feet from me (he at her breast for an after dinner snack) but not looking at me, just her own computer, and doing her best to keep comments to herself as she surfs the Net, so as not to interrupt my thought process in case I come up with something perverse, obtuse, or otherwise sensational, has set up this Blog thing for me. She actually looked over my shoulder and pointed at the correct keys to push down so as to get this magical blank page in my view so I would not have to waste brain energy in doing so myself.
Look at all these cool words and shapes up there-Font style selector-Font size selector-(does this work on penises?) Bold-yes, check, that's me. Italic-half, northern Italy, Text color, Link (the guy from Mod Squad? That's good to know he's right here in case I run into some hoodlums that need straightening out while I'm wandering around by myself in Blogland. Very reassuring, I always like protection when I visit new and strange places). Align left, Align Center, Align Right, (must be for Chiropractic Bloggers?), Justify Full. This one I like. It must be there to press when I am wanting to do something no one else agrees with. Numbered list, Bulleted list (Mafia hits?) Blockquote-this will come in handy, I'm sure. Does Outlook Express have one of these for all those who send me their worthless opinions? Check spelling, in case I Blog to someone in Checkoslovokia and have trouble spelling something. Add Image, I could use that, can't most of us? I mean, if I had enough, what would I need Blogging for? And finally, Remove Formatting from selection. What's that, a nautical thing? Is there Aftmatting? And why do I need to have it removed? Then above that is something labeled Edit Html. Oh, I get it, in case I want to change hate mail that might come in. Good, that might prove useful. And finally, Compose. Goodie, I always wanted to write songs. I've written a few poems but never put them to music. Now I can! How cool is that?
I think I'm going to like to Blog. I may end up Blogging a lot. My family and friends may have to intervene if I get carried away with it all. Is there a Bloggers anonymous? Is it ok to Blog in public or can I get arrested for that? I will have to check with an attorney to see about the laws pertaining to this, though I'm not one for paying much attention to laws anyway, but it is good to know when I'm breaking them, just so I know I'm getting away with something. And if I am questioned-I just hit that old Justify Fully horizontal lines thingy up there and vwallaa! I'm free!
Well, so far, this has been fun and I look forward to further exploration in the Outer Limits of Blogland.
Tomorrow I will describe what Greg's Studio is all about and how you will be able to buy some really cool art stuff to have for your very own, and then you won't need the Add Image button any more!

Hi babe, awesome post there! Thanks for the compliments and NO, font size selector doesn't work on penises (not that you need it)!
I'm looking forward to reading future posts. I love you!
Hi Greg,
