Why I'm Here
Hello again, welcome back.
As promised I will tell you what Greg's Studio is all about. As you may have imagined I am an artist and after nearly twenty five years of creating pieces, I finally decided to share my God-given talents with the world and am now stepping up to the plate to sell them on-line as well as to galleries nationwide and eventually to the world. My stuff is mostly metal art and some mixed-media, predominately abstract and some functional. I have sold the occasional piece but have held onto most of what I’ve created, having become rather fond of them.I’m not going to give you the usual rigmarole that I hear other artists spew about how they are inspired, their use of color and texture, who their favorite other artists are, yadda, yadda, yadda. I just like to collect odd crap and weld and glue it together according to how it looks and feels to me. I am blessed with an eye for balance and symmetry and I love to put on great music in my studio and get into that timeless place when I create. It can be enormous fun and quite satisfying. That’s why I do it, nothing fancy. And yes, I like to get money for it too.Soon you will be able to see my new stuff, along with some of my older creations at my new website, www.gregsstudio.com. It is an exciting time for me and my wife, Jennifer, having spent many hours deciding the best course of action to get me going as a successful artist. This blog will be a place for me to write whenever I get the urge, or to share old stories that I have written, or perhaps to share my daily experiences, be it a positive one or perhaps to rant about a not-so-satisfying interaction I may have had with a store, restaurant or service company.
Please, let me know if you have any comments, I’d like to hear from you, as long as it’s positive and reassuring.
Yours in Blogland

Positive and reassuring, huh? I love the line: I just like to collect odd crap and weld and glue it together according to how it looks and feels to me.
I must like it too. Our house is filled with it!!!
You don't do justice to the fun, original pieces you create! Can't wait until everyone can see the photos.
